![]() I saw the bay window, it was the boy's room! I went to tell the Seed Eater, let's just call him S/E for now. I remember going to his house and just simply knocking on the door at 4:29 a.m., but nobody would answer. I remember the little boy, ohh what was his name? Oh well it doesn't matter. You see, the Seed Eater devours children to keep itself alive, indulging in their youth to live forever. On April 3rd, 1988 the Seed Eater arrived at my window again. I remember it telling me that it wanted my help, I would do anything for it. I ran out of the house to see it sitting in the tree, just staring into my eyes, I was about to cry from the majesty of it. I was in a daze when I saw it, my destiny beckoned to me, it said "follow it, love it, learn it."Īround the same time two weeks later I awoke to a strange tapping noise on my front window, I knew it was him. On June 19th, 1987 I first saw it sitting in my tree on my front lawn. The Seed Eater is a disturbed bird/human creature that roams the forests, stalking children, abducting them to be part of the legend. We lived happily there for several years, until I discovered my one true love, studying the Seed Eater. That was the year my wife and I escaped the busy world of New York to live our lives in the country, North Dakota. I remember fondly, it was September 15th, 1983. You see there is a monster that wanders around the globe preying on innocent children, watching, waiting. My son left his room one night to the enchanted chirping outside his window, and I knew what this was, but only from my years of studying this creature. Dear reader, children shouldn't roam this world alone, but we can't keep them in their nest forever. I wish he would have stayed home, away from this cruel world that we live in. Parking is easy-two blocks away and only $6.00 for Self Park.A crude drawing, it doesn't like photographs We were very satisfied with the performance and will return to the Bijou. In between songs, he recited thoughtful lyrics of poetry related to his walking journeys throughout the world. The “Sound of Silence” was spot on with harmonies as good as the record. His stellar performance included all his great songs along with a couple of classics from the Graduate. A nice mix - a little of everything is on the roster.Īrt Garfunkel is a legend and his lyrics will live on for eternity. However, in addition, the Bijou also offers a wide array of well know rock, jazz and country artists from the past and present such as: Lindsey Buckingham, Christopher Cross, and Joe Jackson. It provides an opportunity for lesser known local and TN groups to advance their career and gain a higher level of identity than by just playing in the area pubs or smaller venues. The Bijou is unique because it fills a void in the KNOX area. The staff is cordial and they have a great concession area. The Bijou is classical,- really historical, and over 100 years old. We liked the way they have their restaurant next door directly connected to the theater. The small venue setting is our preference and the seating arrangement at the Bijou is ideal - with a good view of the stage from most areas. The Art Garfunkel concert was the first event we attended at the Knoxville Bijou and it was very good. My wife nagged me to get the Garfunkel tickets in December 2018 so I purchased seats from Ticketmaster at 10:01 AM on the morning they went on sale and got really good seats.
